Idiom Savant: Starter Set (w/ Piece of Cake Cards Only)
The English language can be as fun as it is frustrating. Synonyms, double meanings and local vernacular often have us wondering what was just said and more importantly, what was meant by it. The Idiom is the biggest culprit of confusion. An idiom is a common phrase that has a different literal translation from its figurative meaning. For example, the figurative meaning of the Idiom “Hit the Road” is to “get going” or “leave.” This is far different from the literal translation of “punch the pavement.” Enough to make you Blow a gasket.
Idiom Savant is a fun word game where the goal is to guess an Idiom in 90 seconds from a series of 3 progressively easier clues. For 3-6 players or teams.
The starter set includes the Piece of Cake starter deck along with a game sheet, timer and pencil.
